Documentation Needed for Prequalification
 

Below is a general list of documentation a buyer or refinancer would need. Contact me today if you are interested in getting prequalified we work with several mortgage lenders that can help you with this process.

Purchase & Refinance:

• Copy of Driver License
• Bank/Asset statements- All pages including checking/saving/Money Market/CD/IRA/401K/Retirement/stocks and bonds
• Employed- Two Most recent paystubs and most recent year’s W-2
• Self Employed- Two most recent year’s Federal Tax Returns, Personal & Business with all schedules
• Social Security- Awards letters or if direct deposited, 2 most recent months bank statements w/all pages
• Pension or Annuity- Awards letter or Statement of continuation
• Income from Child Support/Alimony- Award Agreement and proof of receipt for most recent 6 months
• Rental Income- Schedule E from most recent Federal Tax Return or if new rental one year Lease Agreement
• Current renters- name and phone for owner/manager
• Insurance declaration page, showing coverage and premiums
• Current property tax
• Recently sold home which may not show on credit report- HUD/Closing statement from the sale
• Associations: Contact name and phone

Refinance:

• Survey
• Title policy, for reissue credit on new title policy
• Most recent mortgage statement
